The upcoming regular election for key Charles County local offices is the Gubernatorial Primary Election on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, followed by the Gubernatorial General Election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

🗳️ Key Deadlines
Candidate Filing Deadline (Primary Election): Tuesday, February 24, 2026, by 9:00 PM. This is the deadline for major party candidates (Democrat/Republican) to file their required documents for the Primary Ballot.

Voter Registration Deadline (Primary Election): Tuesday, June 2, 2026 (by mail or online).
