La Plume Township Zoning Hearing Board
NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the La Plume Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a
public hearing on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, beginning at 7:00 P.M. The purpose of the
hearing is to discuss and make decision on the application of Dalton Sewer Authority. Applicant
seeks the following variances:
1. A variance for front yard setback of 6.49 feet;
2. A variance of 4.4% of the maximum lot coverage;
3. A variance of 0.67 feet from the maximum height for accessory structure in A-1 zoning
district;
4. A variance for 2 additional structures on the property;
The property is located at 2074 N. Turnpike Rd, LaPlume Twp., PA 18414 and is
identified as Lackawanna County PIN 0580304000400. The property is located in the A-1
Agricultural District.
The hearing will be conducted at the La Plume Township Municipal Building, 2109 Rt. 6
& 11, La Plume, PA 18440. Party participation will be governed by the rules of standing
contained in the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. If any person with a disability
wishes to request that special accommodations be made to allow his or her participation, he or
she is asked to contact the Township at 570.563.5053, at least one business day in advance to

William E. Frederici, 56, of Factoryville, died Thursday July 30, 2026, at home with his family by his side. He was born on May 30, 1970, in Tunkhannock; son of the late William G. Frederici who died in 2022 and the former Cecelia Mitchell of Factoryville. His wife is the former Daniella Geerts.
Bill was a devoted and loving husband and father. He was a generous man who helped many people who were in need. He had an outgoing and friendly nature. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and old cars. Bill was a hard-working man, owner/operator of Bill Frederici's Appliance Repair Plumbing, Electrical and HV/AC.
Preceded in death by his brother, Charles K. Frederici, who died in 2011.
He is survived by his daughter Tiffany O’Hara (Gerard) of Scranton; two sons, Robert Mitchell Jr. (Jacey) of Dalton and Billy Jr.at home; brother, Scott Frederici of Factoryville; Aunts, Uncles Nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday August 8, 2026 at 10am at Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes Inc. 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville with Pastor Scott Cleveland officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8pm. Interment at Evergreen-Woodlawn Cemetery, Factoryville
