The library is truly saddened to hear about Dolly's passing.

We want to celebrate her incredible legacy as she dedicated herself to supporting America's children by sending out millions of books to kids under the age of 5 through the Imagination Library. A program inspired by her father's inability to read or write became a national project that deeply touched our community. Many of our own children have felt the warmth of Dolly's kindness, as the library had been a channel for providing local children their books. 📚

🎨We had such a great time with our patrons coming and going during our Painting Party!

We provided a variety of materials to paint, such as mason jars, mugs, and rocks. You might see some painted rocks if you stop in the library. Keep your eyes peeled for them!

We also welcomed individuals to bring their own items to paint. There were such creative minds at work!

For this month's Novel Notions Book Club, we're excited to be reading "Heartburn" by Nora Ephron! We'll get together to chat about the book on the 25th at 6 pm, and then on the 26th at 6 pm, we'll be watching the movie. Hope to see you there!

You're not required to attend the book club discussion to come to the movie showing, and vice versa. We always welcome everyone!

🍂 Yesterday we hosted bleach leaf printing, and the drop-in program was a blast!
Expressive artwork is one of the most wonderful forms of art you can create. It doesn't have to make sense to anyone but yourself.

We used materials from our makerspace, The Forge, which you’re welcome to come use whenever we are open!
