The members of Percy Priest Lodge 85 are truly numb and saddened by the loss of our brother. Our prayers go out to his family. We are here for you always and forever. Lords Blessings to you.

Longtime officer and recently promoted Lieutenant Robert Hayes has passed away after losing a short but valiant fight against cancer. Hayes is a 17-year veteran of the La Vergne Police Department.

Lt. Hayes was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer in March of 2023 and began to rapidly decline in health. He passed away on April 17, 2023, surrounded by friends and family. Lt. Hayes was 53 years old and is survived by his wife, Kimberly, of 25 years, and his three adult children, Madison, Jeffery, and Edward.

Run Announcement - Mile 1,318 (Zechariah's 1,302nd Mile)

Monday Evening, August 22nd, Zechariah will run 1-mile (weather permitting) carrying his flag in honor of fallen La Vergne Police Department (TN) Lieutenant Kevin Stolinsky.

The run will take place at 7:00PM ET in Central Florida and will be uploaded to the Running 4 Heroes Facebook and YouTube Page shortly after the run concludes. People will be able to view/share/comment on the run once it gets uploaded.

IMPORTANT: The Safety of our runners remains our #1 concern. Please be advised that our runs will continue to be dependent on Law Enforcement being present. Due to the current times, if we are unable to secure Law Enforcement for the run, the run will be postponed to a later date and time.

We encourage citizens and agencies from across the nation join Zechariah in a 1-mile walk or run Monday at 7:00PM ET (4:00PM PT) to help honor this fallen hero.
