La Vergne Parks & Rec The Parks and Recreation Department offers numerous programs and activities and provides safe, well-organized facilities for residents to use and enjoy.

With a highly trained and talented staff, the city offers plenty of free events throughout the year including egg hunts, trick-or-treating, parades, festivals, and more. The city has six parks, including picnic facilities, playgrounds, and pavilions depending on the park. At Bicentennial Park there is a rentable Multipurpose Building near the baseball fields. The City of La Vergne invites and enco

urages people to discuss issues affecting the City on its social media sites, which serve as limited public forums. However, the City of La Vergne will not allow posts to remain that include:

The wait is over… the Carnival opens THIS Friday at 6PM!

Bring the whole family out for a night packed with thrilling rides, classic carnival games, delicious fair food, and nonstop fun for all ages!

📅 Opening Night: Friday, May 15
🕕 Gates Open: 6:00 PM

Armbands are available for unlimited rides and cost $25. Armbands are only good for one use during the following times:

Thursday and Friday from 6 - 10p
Saturday and Sunday from 1 - 5p or 6 - 10p

Please note that if you start using an armband at 3p, it will only be valid until the end of the first session (5p). Individual tickets can also be purchased. They are $1.00, and each ride requires 3 - 5 tickets per person.

Join us this Saturday for one of La Vergne’s most popular family events.

The Block Party & Touch-A-Truck is happening April 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, and there is something for all ages to enjoy. Admission is free!

Climb aboard and explore a wide variety of vehicles, including fire trucks, police units, heavy equipment, and more. Kids can meet the people who operate them every day while learning how these vehicles serve our community.

In addition to the touch-a-truck displays, the event will feature:
• Interactive activities like inflatables, pedal carts, and a zipline
• Live attractions and demonstrations
• Local vendors and community organizations
• A wide selection of food trucks
