🎉 Congratulations to EMT N. Adaro! 🎉

Please join us in congratulating EMT N. Adaro on successfully completing our new-hire training process! She has successfully passed all required testing and has officially been cleared for duty. 🚑👏

To recognize this accomplishment, EMT Adaro was awarded her challenge coin by Battalion Chief Delagarza, marking the successful completion of her training.

We’re proud to welcome her to the team and look forward to seeing her serve our community!

Congratulations to Battalion Chief Paul Delagarza on 9 years of dedicated service with Wilson County ESD #3!

Paul started his career with ESD #3 as a paramedic and, through years of hard work, dedication, and commitment to his crew and community, has risen to the rank of Battalion Chief.

Nine years of answering calls, serving patients, supporting his fellow first responders, and taking on the responsibilities of leadership is something worth recognizing.

Congratulations, Paul, and thank you for 9 years of service to Wilson County ESD #3. Here’s to many more! 🚑🇺🇸

While attending last nights National Night Out event in La Vernia, a gentlemen came up to our crew. He wanted to thank us for a recent call we were dispatched to for him. He expressed his sincerest thank you, and said the crews saved his life. He wanted to see them again to thank them.

We appreciate the opportunity to connect afterwards with our patients. Many times in this line of work, we may never know what happened or how it ended up. When a reunion like this happens, it means more to the crews than you may know.

We would like to thank La Vernia PD, Stockdale Marshals office, and Union Valley Baptist church for inviting our crews out to join in National Night Out. We appreciate the opportunity to connect with the community, answering questions from all ages, and explaining the Emergency services we provide, as well as our car seat technicians, cpr and first aid, EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic courses, 911 address signs, and ride along opportunities.

We would also like to thank the local Scouts troop from La Vernia for the goodie basket. It is very appreciated.

It is with heavy hearts that Wilson County ESD #3 joins our community in mourning the passing of Stockdale ISD Superintendent Todd Deaver.

Mr. Deaver’s dedication to the students, staff, families, and community of Stockdale will continue to leave a lasting impact. His leadership and commitment to those he served will not be forgotten.

In a close-knit community like ours, a loss such as this is felt far beyond the walls of a school district. We extend our deepest condolences to Mr. Deaver’s family, his Stockdale ISD family, his friends, colleagues, students, and everyone whose life he touched.

Please keep the Deaver family and the entire Stockdale community in your thoughts and prayers during the difficult days ahead.

From all of us at Wilson County ESD #3, we are grateful for Mr. Deaver’s service to our community and mourn alongside all who knew and loved him.

Rest in peace, Mr. Deaver. Your service and impact will be remembered. 💜
