Wilson County ESD #3 had the honor of participating in the Velico FrontlineODP™ (On Demand Plasma) usability study this past week. The participants learned about Velico’s sprayed dried plasma, the standard practice for rehydrating and using the plasma and then demonstrated their learned knowledge in a simulated ambulance transport. Spray dried plasma solves the complex logistical issues associated with using conventional liquid blood products for life-saving, prehospital transfusion by first responders.
Thank you to Velico for allowing us to take part in such an amazing study!
