These 2 dogs are loose behind the high school in the construction site. We fed them and are trying to locate the owners. One has a tan collar as shown in the picture. If these are your dogs please contact La Vernia Police at 830-779-4541.

As the Golf Tournament is nearing we thought we would share the Application for our La Vernia Seniors to fill out to be considered for a $500-$1000 Scholarship.

Criteria's to apply:

*Must be a Senior at La Vernia High School
*Must have a minimum of a "B" or 3.0 average
*Must plan on furthering his/her education at either
"Trade/College/University"
*Only 1 Scholarship per individual awarded
*High School Transcript
*Enrollment of College/Trade School
*Two letters of recommendation (None family) & (Only one School
representative)

Applications will be in the High School office to pick up or feel free to print from online at the City website under Departments "Police" -- "Scholarships"

All applications will be turned in at City Hall during normal business hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm before May 6th.
