La Veta Fire Protection District Auxiliary

La Veta Fire Protection District Auxiliary We plan fundraisers to financially support the district and their needs. We also provide EMS/ fire awareness and safety programs in schools and our community.

We provide food and drinks to the EMS/ fire fighters during trainings and on fire scenes.

We appreciate our volunteers!!

La Veta FPD had personnel on the Aspen Acres Fire and the Big Sheep Fire. We had firefighters in La Veta covering the whole county.
Thanks to all the volunteers and their hard work we have a good handle on the Big Sheep Fire. With burnout operations last night we have a good chance of limited fire spread today.
