Meet the newest addition to the La Porte community: The Green Room — a fresh, healthy café and cocktail lounge created by April the founder of Go Aerial Fitness, which opened in 2015.

Go Aerial Fitness has become a well‑loved yoga and aerial arts studio in La Porte. Their most popular programs include:
• Hot Yoga
• Children’s Aerial Acrobatics
You may also recognize the owner as “the hula hoop lady” from Arts in the Park, where she often shares hula hoops and mini‑lessons with kids. She has spent years bringing movement and creativity into the community through demos, farmers markets, and public events.

The Green Room marks the next phase of their decade‑long wellness journey, expanding to fill the entire building and offering:

• Fresh, healthy foods (smoothies, salads, sandwiches, flatbreads, homemade soups, charcuterie & more!)
• A performance space for live music, Latin dance lessons, social nights, open mic and karaoke nights, artist exhibitions, makers markets, and more

This beautiful new space is designed to bring people together through wellness, creativity, and community.

The Green Room at The Studio is opening TOMORROW!

We’re excited to welcome The Green Room to downtown La Porte, a brand‑new healthy café and cocktail lounge located 507 Lincolnway.

Join them for a Super Soft Opening tomorrow, Thursday, February 26 at 4 PM!
They'll be offering a limited menu as they open the doors and begin welcoming the community.

Thank You to Our Amazing Local Businesses!

A huge thank you to all the wonderful businesses that joined us for last night’s La Porte Small Business Coalition meeting, both in person and via Zoom. We are truly stronger together! 💪

Last night marked our first meeting of the year, and we were thrilled to be hosted by The Green Room at 507 Lincolnway, which is also our first Featured Business of 2026! Stay tuned to learn more about them in the coming days.

La Porte Small Business Owners — We’d Love to Connect With You!

The La Porte Small Business Coalition is re-energizing for the new year, and we’re inviting local small businesses to be part of it.

Whether you’re brand new, have been involved in the past, or have simply never heard of us, this Coalition is for ALL La Porte small businesses.

Our goal is simple:
✔ Support one another
✔ Share resources and information
✔ Stay informed about what’s happening in our city
✔ Work together instead of operating in isolation

Over the years, Coalition members have shared vendor orders to lower costs, offered extra refrigerator space when another business needed it, and helped one another problem-solve. That spirit of collaboration, not competition, is what we are building on.

We are currently gathering member feedback, preparing for board elections in March, and creating new opportunities for businesses to connect, collaborate, and have a voice in what happens next.
