A great way to start the weekend!

Volunteers from K**b Creek Conservancy organized a National Trails Day event with assistance from Parkway Baptist Church and City of Hodgenville.

Vans transported hikers from McDougal Lake to Pearman Forest, where the 3.25 mile "Kiosk to Kiosk" hike began.

LaRue County's own Old-Growth Forest is now connected to McDougal Lake via the Pearman Pass which connects these two outstanding outdoor recreational areas.

Special thanks to Hodgenville United Methodist Church for providing water and snacks to today's hikers.

Please share your own photos with American Hiking Society and in the comments below.
