Hugs for hope!
Helping those that need it the most. There are so many people out there that have lost hope and turned to drugs to numb the pain; I know because I've been there. The thought of taking my own life so many times, when all I really needed was someone to listen and a good old-fashioned hug! Hugs are so underrated and not given nearly enough. when was the last time you've gotten a hug, or given a hug? So much power in such a small gesture! It can literally change lives!
Sadly though, most men haven't had a good hug in years! Most will look at you like you're crazy if you'd try to give them a hug. We're not supposed to show vulnerability, and a lot of men would probably break down in tears with a good hug. Every day in the United States, around 100 men take their own lives. That's 100 brothers, fathers, uncles and sons every single day! Depression and hopelessness are real!
There are times when I think about ending it all and only by the grace of God am I sitting here with you all today! so with that being said, here I am! Trying to make a difference one hug at a time! With that being said, Go give someone a hug! you never know when you could be saving a life!
