Get ready for a full day of family fun, hometown pride, and unforgettable memories! From the Parade and all-day food and craft vendors to live music, a 7:00 p.m. Pow Wow, and the Northwoods' premier fireworks show at dusk, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Applications are now open for Oshki-ojibwemowag, our NEW Full-Time Adult Indigenous Language Immersion Program—an intensive, two-year journey designed for highly motivated learners who are ready to dedicate themselves to becoming proficient speakers and future language leaders.

Today is the day! Join MIIN Community Outreach Officer, Niigaanigwaneb via zoom for the first of two lunch and learn sessions regarding year 2 of the Weshki-ganawenjigaazojig Fellowship. This will be a time to hear from the organization and network as well as answer any questions as you prepare for your application or encourage a peer who is working on, fine-tuning or mastering their Ojibwe language. Weshki-ganawenjigaazojig is a yearlong fellowship for individuals 18-29 years of age during the application period, applications will be accepted until 7/31/2026 11:59pm cst.
