All are invited to join the AICHO Ojibwe Online Language Table for our weekly gatherings on Zoom, every Monday evening starting May 11th, 2026!
There are two sessions of the Ojibwe language table practice on Monday evenings: Beginner and Intermediate. All are welcome to attend whichever session you are interested in. All of our weekly exercises and practice is geared towards building our confidence and ability to converse together in the language.
Come ready to speak and sound our voices together!
AICHO's language table facilitator is Ricky DeFoe, Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Tribal Member and Language Instructor. He has been leading the language table once a week for seven years at AICHO and now continues these cultural/spiritual language lessons on Zoom.
Our language table helper is Dené Sinclair, Peguis Band Member from Manitoba Canada and Anishinaabemowin language learner.
The language table is a safe, community space where we come together as learners to speak, listen and talk together, practicing Anishinaabemowin conversations. All dialects, peoples and skill levels are welcome!
