Meet Nati 💗

This little nugget is a 6.5 yr old female Belgian Malinois. Nati spent her career serving as a training aid for our Trainers Course and Handlers Course where she helped develop 26 students. She was medically retired from the program for multifocal degenerative joint disease and lumbosacral intervertebral disc disease.

Nati is a sweet girl that can still perform the light to moderate activity of a pet. She loves Kongs, enjoys a dip in the pool, and walks well on leash.

Meet Oman!⭐️

Oman is a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois. He is easy to walk on leash, enjoys taking his time to sniff and explore, and gets excited when it’s time to play with toy.

During his service, Oman helped train eight future military working dog handlers as a training aid in our Handlers Course. Now he’s ready to trade in his working days for a loving home where he can enjoy the retirement life.

Oman was medically retired due to multiple orthopedic issues with knees and hips. He is currently undergoing physical therapy and is expected to do well with the light to moderate activity of a pet home, though he should avoid repetitive jumping and other high impact activities. He has also displayed some situational anxiety and noise aversion.

Meet Donci 💛

This ball of energy is a 2yr old male Belgian Malinois. Donci spent a limited time in training before being medically eliminated from the program. He was diagnosed with degenerative joint disease in both his knees and a damaged ligament in his knee consistent with cranial cruciate ligament disease.

Donci is still very energetic and can perform the light to moderate activity of a pet. He can be a strong puller on walks and is obsessed with toys or objects that look like toys. He’ll do best in a patient home that can provide him structure, mental stimulation, and additional training.

Meet PPeony 🌸

This pint size cutie is a 6 yr old female Belgian Malinois. PPeony served as a training aid for our Handlers Course where she helped develop 24 student handlers. After experiencing some hindlimb lameness and pelvic limb tremors, she was retired from the program.

PPeony is a sweet and playful dog with lots of energy and great toy drive. She can still perform the low to moderate activity of a pet but should refrain from doing any fast paced or intense activity. She’ll do best in a home that is familiar with her breed and can keep her entertained.

Meet Zzuniga!💜

Zzuniga is a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois who is being medically retired after being diagnosed with bilateral knee osteoarthritis and a right pectineus muscle strain. While she is no longer able to continue working, she can still enjoy light to moderate activity and is ready to find a loving home.

During her time in the program, Zzuniga served as a training aid for our Handlers Course, helping train 14 future Military Working Dog handlers.

Zzuniga is a feisty, playful girl with plenty of energy. She absolutely loves treats and toys and thrives on attention and interaction. As a typical Malinois, she’ll do best with an active family that understands the breed and can provide the physical exercise and mental stimulation she needs to stay happy and fulfilled.

If you’re looking for a fun, loyal companion and have experience with the Belgian Malinois breed, Zzuniga may be the perfect addition to your family.

Meet Sarika 💝 (Pending Adoption)

Sarika is a 1 year old German Shepherd looking for a very special person to adopt her. She was recently diagnosed with liver shunts, and while her prognosis is poor, every dog is different. In the past, dogs in our program with liver shunts have lived anywhere from a few months to two years.

Today, she’s still happy, full of energy, and enjoys exploring the play yard and soaking up affection. She isn’t very interested in toys, but she does love cooling off in the water tub on hot days.

We’re hoping someone will open their heart and home to give Sarika the love, comfort, and companionship she deserves for whatever time she has left.

Meet Duck 💛 (Adopted)

This handsome boy is a 4.5 year old male German Shepherd. Duck was utilized as a training aid for our Handlers Course where he helped develop 10 students into the handlers they are today. Duck was medically retired from the program for inflammatory bowel disease and atopic dermatitis.

Duck is a sweet boy that enjoys toys and is often seen carrying with his emotional support kong.

Meet Drago 🩵

This special boy is a 4.5yr old German Shepherd. Drago was utilized as a training aid for our Trainers Course team where he worked with 5 handlers. He was eliminated from training for fear and gunfire reactivity.

Drago is a great dog, but very selective with who he likes. He loves to play with toys, enjoys being in water, and loves treats. He will do best in a home environment with MWD experience and no children.
