🚨Urgent! Injured stray dog found!

This dog was picked up by our Animal Control team today with an injured leg. The dog is microchipped, but the information is not current and we aren't able to reach the owner this way. Can you please share her?

💪🏼 Caliber putting in the work today!

Animal Services received a call about a shy stray dog who had been hanging out in the woods of a Mandeville neighborhood for a couple of weeks. Despite several caring citizens trying to feed and catch her, she wasn’t having it!

Our best treats couldn’t convince her to come out—so ACO Supervisor Black brought in the big guns: Caliber!

Caliber quickly made friends, lured her out of the woods, and helped us safely get her leashed. Once she was finally caught, this sweet girl completely melted into ACO Black’s arms. ❤️

Sometimes it takes a little teamwork to get the job done!

Caliber has been keeping busy!
Over the past couple of weeks, he made it out to two different events, meeting the community and representing Animal Services. Our favorite ACO mascot is always ready for the next adventure! 🐶
