A little back story. It's been 9 years this weekend since I decided I really wanted to build an indoor playground. My son turned 12 all those years ago and I took him and 2 friends to a bounce and climb place, not naming names 😉. The place kept the heat at like 75+ so kids constantly needed drinks, yet didn't allow for food or drink to be brought in. I spent around $80 in the few hours we were there just to get a pizza and keep the boys hydrated, plus getting in the door. It felt like highway robbery! So I started thinking how I would do it if I started my own place. I want it to be so different than other play places so I'm not direct competition, want it to be affordable and someplace that eventually the whole family could enjoy. No inflatable slides, sorry. No arcade games, not sorry. But soft play for infants and toddlers, lots of ways to climb and explore and yes there may be actual slides for the little ones, but also ropes to climb, walls to climb, cars to scoot around in, and much more. Some day, the goal is to have a teen zone, an actual rock wall climb, batting cages, indoor mini golf, and maybe someday a Ninja Warrior training course for kids and for adults!!! Sad things is, I can't do it alone, I need donations, investors, volunteers...a space😂😂 Does this sound exciting to you ?
So now that you know what I need, are you willing to help? Willing to trade play time for working or donations!!
Anyway, Happy 21st birthday to my son today. Thanks for giving Mama something to dream about.
