The City would like to inform residents that a water line has been hit, which may cause low water pressure in some areas and no water service in others.

Our Public Works Department is actively working to repair the line as quickly and safely as possible.

This week, we proudly celebrate Laurie Kaczmarek during Municipal Clerks Week!

Laurie has dedicated herself to municipal government since 2012 and has faithfully served the City of Lacy Lakeview since June 2022. Her hard work, organization, and commitment help keep our city running smoothly each and every day.

Beyond all she does for the community, Laurie is truly a bright spirit in our office. Her kindness, positivity, and willingness to help others make a lasting impact on both staff and residents alike. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication, professionalism, and the heart she brings to City Hall every day.

Brenda Jameson 74 - 26.71%
Natalie Lucero 65 - 23.47%

Additional mail-in ballots may affect the final tally.

Canvass of the Results
The outcome of this General Election will become official after the City Council canvasses the results at the May 12, 2026 Council Meeting.

All the past rains and sunshine has made the plants explode with growth!

Did you know the City has regulations to help prevent health and fire hazards in our neighborhoods? Here’s a quick breakdown of § 95.02 regarding grass, weeds, brush, and litter:

✔️ Grass & Weeds:

Must be kept under 12 inches in height.
Applies to residential properties, nearby undeveloped land, and certain commercial/industrial areas.

✔️ Property Lines & Right-of-Way:

Areas along streets, sidewalks, and property edges must also be maintained.
Property owners are responsible for keeping adjacent right-of-way clear and trimmed.

✔️ Brush & Overgrowth:

Cannot be allowed to become a health or fire hazard.
Must be cleared within specified distances depending on property type and size.

✔️ Trash & Litter:

Includes both decayable (garbage) and non-decayable (trash) materials.
Keep your property free of debris to avoid violations.
