Engine 101 responded to an 4 car MVA with entrapment on College Park Rd with Engine 402 this afternoon. Crews performed a B-Post Blowout and provided patient care until patients were removed and care was transferred to EMS.

07/16/2026

Engine 101 on scene of a vehicle fire off College Park Rd this afternoon. Engine 101 extinguished the fire and checked a trailer and nearby vehicles for extension, finding only heat damage.

07/05/2026

In the early morning hours of July 5th, Company 1 was dispatched to a second working fire of the night, this time in Hanahan. Engine 101 arrived 3rd-due and assumed RIT. Crews softened the structure, threw ladders, and vertically ventilated at the request of command. Crews operated on scene for approximately 1 hour and stood by to cover a neighboring agency’s district before returning to the firehouse.

07/05/2026

On the evening of America’s 250th Birthday, Engine 101 responded as the 3rd due engine to a fire in Sangaree. Engine 101 operated as the RIT company, throwing ladders, softening the structure, helping advance lines, and helping with overhaul. Crews operated on scene for approximately an hour and a half before returning to the firehouse.
