The Caromi Fire Department extends our deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters at Moncks Corner Rural Fire Department on the passing of Deputy Chief Jimmy Townsend.

Deputy Chief Townsend was a dedicated leader, mentor, and friend whose decades of service left a lasting impact on the fire service and the Berkeley County community. His legacy of commitment and leadership will never be forgotten.

We ask that everyone keep Chief Townsend’s family, friends, and the entire Moncks Corner Rural Fire Department in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Chief Townsend. We’ll take it from here.
