Math Facts Scholars testing is back for the 2026-2027 school year and will begin on September 9th. We are so excited to help Reed students improve their math fact fluency while having fun and working towards awards! You can sign your child up at any time throughout the school year by purchasing the books on the RSA website.

Testing will take place on Wednesdays from 8:00am-8:30am in the Reed School new gymnasium. Please use the side door to enter the building for testing and do not arrive before 8:00am.

Volunteers are needed for various jobs including helping students find and file tests and monitoring the hallway. Test graders are given an answer key to make grading quick and easy! If you are interested in volunteering email Kremena Bateman. Every bit of assistance will help!

Over the summer, something special arrived at the Reed Library: Reed’s very own book vending machine!

Made possible in part by the RSA Book Fair fundraiser, the vending machine is more than a fun new feature—it’s a way to celebrate what makes the Reed community so special: our students!

As a new Reed tradition, every student will get to pick a book from the vending machine on their birthday. It’s a small way to celebrate each student and encourage a lifelong love of reading.

Thank you for supporting the RSA and helping us create fun, meaningful ways to celebrate our students. We’re so excited to see this new Reed tradition grow!

Room parents are needed for classrooms!

Room parents help plan classroom parties, collect funds for and purchase teacher gifts, serve as classroom communications liaisons, and help out teachers as requested. You will need to create a login on Membership Toolkit if you haven’t already done so.

Show your Reed Panther pride with new spirit wear! The fall sale runs August 24–September 4.

Families can order online or using the order forms that will be sent home with students during the first week of school. After the sale closes, all items will be shipped to Reed and distributed to students in their classrooms.

Ladue Dance Marathon is beginning its 14th year tradition at Ladue Horton Watkins High School. This year, two Reed alumni, Norah Martin and Zoe Warticovschi are leading this amazing cause to raise funds for Children's Miracle Network. The main event is held in February, but this weekend they will be kicking off the fundraising efforts with the annual car wash. Please join this incredible group of high school students on Saturday, 8/29 from 11am-1:30pm at the high school. Let's show our Reed support!

🏈Father Child Fantasy Football 🏈
Presented by the Reed School Association

The 5th annual Father-Child Fantasy Football league is back for the 2026-2027 season!

This league is a great chance to meet other dads, share your love of football with your child, and engage in some healthy competition.

The league is divided up into multiple divisions. The winner of each division then moves on to compete for the ultimate prize of being crowned Grand Champion of Reed. Drafts are done live with your kids and other dads getting together at someone’s home for drafting, beverages, and a good time. League is a full PPR run through ESPN.

Please respond by August 21th. Divisions will be set up on August 22 and you will be notified of your division and draft set up shortly thereafter. All efforts will be made to secure a draft time that everyone can make.
