School starts tomorrow! 🚌📚 That means school buses, busy crosswalks, and excited students will be back on our roads.

As everyone gets back into the routine, remember to slow down in school zones, stay alert, and NEVER pass a stopped school bus with its red lights flashing. A few extra seconds of patience can help keep our students safe.

🎃👻 Some schools may not have even started back yet… but somehow we’re already officially 7 weeks away from WCAA’s 4th Annual Trunk or Treat!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 17 from 3–6 PM and join us for pumpkin decorating, Halloween music, face painting, food, plenty of treats, and some spooky fun with your WCAA crew! 🚑🍬

🚑 New lifesaving technology is coming to WCAA!

Whitemarsh Ambulance recently took delivery of four ZOLL AutoPulse® NXT Mechanical CPR Devices, helping our crews provide consistent, high-quality compressions during cardiac arrest.

ZOLL joined us for hands-on training with WCAA staff and members of Barren Hill Volunteer Fire Company, Spring Mill Fire Company, and the Whitemarsh Township Fire Marshal’s Office, preparing everyone to work together with the new equipment before it goes into service.

A special thank you to Whitemarsh Township Parks & Recreation for allowing us to use their building for the training!

🐾 FOUND DOG – CATHERINE DRIVE 🐾

Whitemarsh Township Police have located a lost dog that is currently contained at a residence in the unit block of Catherine Drive.

The dog is not wearing a collar, and officers are currently unable to safely approach it to transport it to the police station and check for a microchip.

If you recognize this dog or know its owner, please contact the Whitemarsh Township Police Department at 610-825-6530 for the exact location.

What better way to celebrate than with our very own WCAA therapy dog, Teddy! 🐶🚑

Teddy had a very important appointment today — GROOMING DAY! 🛁✂️ He’s looking extra handsome, feeling fresh, and is ready to get back to doing what he does best: bringing smiles, comfort, and plenty of tail wags to our crews and community!

We’re pretty lucky to have this four-legged member of the WCAA family! ❤️🐾

🚑 Another Monday, Another Training! 🚒

Captain Bob spent this Monday leading a training for our partners at Spring Mill Fire Company, covering several important patient-care skills firefighters may need to assist with before or alongside EMS.

The night included bleeding control, airway management and BVM ventilation, patient movement and spinal precautions, high-performance CPR, splinting, and reassessment.

Monday nights are for training, teamwork, and making sure we’re ready when the real call comes in. 💪🚑🔥

The Whitemarsh Township Police Department is attempting to identify a nurse who stopped and assisted with lifesaving measures during a medical emergency near Skippack Pike and Butler Pike on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at approximately 3:45 p.m.

We would like to recognize and thank this individual for their assistance. If you are the nurse who provided aid, or if you know who they may be, please contact the Whitemarsh Township Police Department at 610-825-6530.
