🌈 Ending the School Year with Full Hearts

As we head into summer, all remaining perishable foods from our cafeterias are being donated to to help support families in our community. 🍎🥬🍓 Thank you to our amazing students, staff, and families for a wonderful year filled with fresh meals, celebrations, and community connections. 🎢☀️ We sent off our 8th graders in the sweetest way!
Students enjoyed fresh Tropical Açaí Bowls and housebaked Chocolate Banana Muffins — all prepared from scratch by our amazing Stanley Kitchen Team. 🥥🍓🍌
It was truly an all-hands on deck day, as the team was also busy fueling the fun for the 6th and 7th grade carnival festivities! 🎉
Huge thank you to our incredible staff for making these special moments happen for students. 💚

🌈🍓 Produce Palooza has arrived at Lafayette School District! 🫐🍊🥬

Thanks to the Department of Defense Fresh Program and , our cafeterias are overflowing with beautiful fresh produce — including organic strawberries and blueberries, stone fruits, citrus, grapes, mushrooms, romaine lettuce, and more!

Nearly all of these crops were grown in California and will be featured on salad bars and menus across all schools. We’re wrapping up the school year the best way we know how — by eating the rainbow!

🌌✨ May the Fourth Be With You at Burton Valley! ✨🌌 The Force was strong in the cafeteria yesterday as a Stormtrooper and Darth Vader joined us on the Burton Valley lunch line! 🖤🍽️ Students enjoyed a fun, themed lunch with a galactic twist—bringing smiles, excitement, and a little bit of the dark side (in the best way 😄).

Some heroes wear capes.🦸Some cook breakfast, serve lunch, and greet students with a smile every single day. 😃 This School Lunch Hero Day, we’re celebrating our incredible Food & Nutrition Services team for all they do to nourish, support, and care for our students.
