Reminder - FEMA and the Small Business Administration will be set up at the Macon County Administration Building located at 201 Nature Trail Way in Lafayette today through Saturday June 6, 2026, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. each day.

If you or someone you know needs help due to damages from Winter Storm FERN (the ice storm) stop by and see them.

FEMA’s Mobile DRC operations have been extended in Middle Tennessee and both Sumner County and Macon County will be getting their Mobile DRC operations back again.

Mobile DRCs are temporary locations where survivors can meet in person with federal agencies (FEMA & SBA) to get help with disaster recovery

At a DRC, you can receive face-to-face assistance for several recovery tasks:

Apply for Assistance: Get help filling out your application for Individual Assistance.

Case Status Updates: Check the progress of your existing application and resolve issues.

Submit Documents: Staff can help you scan and upload required paperwork.

Specialist Consultations: Speak with Small Business Administration (SBA) loan officers or hazard mitigation specialists.

The last day to register for Individual Disaster Assistance from the ice storm is Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

The schedule below for Macon County.

The FEMA DRC has been set up at the Macon County Administration building since Monday morning. They will be there until Saturday evening. Their hours of operation are 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. each day.

They are here to help anyone who had property damage or losses due to the ice storm. If you had damage or loss go by and see them while they are here.

FEMA is set up at the Macon County Administration building located at 201 Nature Trail Way in Lafayette. Their hours of operation are from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2026, through Saturday, May 16, 2026.

They are here to assist our citizens with getting reimbursed for losses or damaged property caused by the winter storm FERN (the ice storm).

If you had damage to your property stop by and see them, they may be able to get you some reimbursement for the damage or loss.

If you are a business owner who lost revenue due to the storm the Small Business Administration is also set up there with them to help you.
