We learned that LFT Fiber now employs 101 team members and continues to focus on workforce retention, community, and serving the people of Acadiana with reliable, high-speed connectivity.

Their commitment to standing for the people they serve and investing in the future of our region is helping strengthen Acadiana’s connectivity and competitiveness.

Investing in our Future Leaders!

One of the ways Kiwanis makes a difference is by supporting Key Clubs in local high schools.

Through volunteerism, leadership opportunities, and community engagement, students learn the value of service while developing skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Today, the Kiwanis Club of Lafayette had the pleasure of hearing from Todd Citron.

Todd shared the inspiring story of his family’s 80+ year legacy with Hub City Ford, his deep roots in Acadiana, and the importance of faith, family, and service above self. His passion for community leadership and giving back was evident throughout his presentation.

Thank you to Lee Jones of the newly established Lafayette Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace for speaking to the membership of the Kiwanis Club of Lafayette.

We are excited to support this incredible mission and help ensure that no child sleeps on the floor in our community. The Lafayette Chapter is starting off strong with a $5,000 donation from the Kiwanis Club of Lafayette that will go toward purchasing tools and building beds for children in need.

We look forward to seeing the positive impact this organization will make throughout Lafayette!
