To date, more than 75 community leaders, educators, parents, neighbors, and elected officials have endorsed my re-election to the AUHSD Board. Every endorsement is a reminder that people across our community believe in strong public schools, responsible leadership, and keeping students at the center of every decision.

I’m especially honored to have the endorsement of Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, along with so many local leaders I respect.

School starts August 11, just two weeks from today. As a board member and the parent of a rising senior, I love a good checklist, so I put together a simple back-to-school guide with a 2-week, 1-week, and day-before checklist, plus a few reminders for parents and guardians.

AUHSD is hosting a series of community town halls and you’re invited. We’ll break down the budget challenges facing our district, talk through whether a parcel tax is the right path forward, and most importantly, listen to community voices.
