🎉🌎 Celebrating Hispanic Culture at Lafayette High School! 💃🎶

Our Spanish Immersion students wrapped up the month with TWO exciting celebrations of Hispanic culture and heritage!

💃🎶 **Latin Festival:** For the first time, our students took part in the festivities, showcasing their talents through music, singing, and dancing!

🎭🌟 **Hispanic Museum:** Students brought famous Hispanic celebrities to life, highlighting their accomplishments and cultural contributions through creativity and engaging presentations!

These experiences gave our Mighty Lions the opportunity to celebrate cultural diversity, showcase their talents, and bring classroom learning to life!

👏 We are incredibly proud of our students for their creativity, enthusiasm, and hard work!

🎶🦁 MIGHTY LION MUSICIANS MAKING THEIR MARK! 💚🖤

Excellence is music to our ears! 🎶

Lafayette High School is proud to celebrate 23 outstanding student musicians who have earned a place in the 2026 Louisiana Music Educators Association (LMEA) All-State Ensembles!

Being selected for All-State is one of the highest honors a student musician can achieve, recognizing exceptional talent, dedication, and musicianship among students across Louisiana.

Our Mighty Lions will be represented in the All-State Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble! 🎻🎺🥁

👏 Congratulations to each of these talented students! Your hard work and commitment to excellence continue to make Lafayette High School proud. A special thank you to all of our incredible music educators who inspire, challenge, and prepare our students to perform at the highest level!
