The closure of Gourmet Road at its intersection with Prejean Road is scheduled for July 20th through August 3rd, 2026.
As part of the Prejean Road Flood Resilience Project, crews will be performing drainage infrastructure construction on Gourmet Road.
Detour routes will be made available and local access maintained.

The detour routes will consist of:

- Desoto Road
- W. Gloria Switch Road
- N. University Avenue
- Prejean Road

WILDERNESS TRAIL / BEAU BASSIN BRIDGE WORK

WILDERNESS TRAIL / BEAU BASSIN BRIDGE is scheduled for lane closures (ONE LANE ONLY)on Wilderness Trail for June 30th through July 16th, 2026.
The lane closures are necessary to position equipment within the roadway to perform geotechnical boring investigations near the
Vermilion River bridge.

Motorists are urged to proceed with caution through the work zones.
