Here is a timelapse of some of the work the Tippecanoe Invasive Cooperative Taskforce - TICT did this morning along Burnett Creek in Tippecanoe Battlefield Park. Most of the plants removed were invasive burning bush. Removing invasive plants not only fosters healthy ecosystems but also improves water quality by reducing erosion. You can find TICT in a park somewhere in Tippecanoe County most Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Everyone is welcome to join in on the fun!
