Wednesday at 1440 hrs Station 21 and Bradford City Ambulance were dispatched to the 5600 Block of Route 59 for single car MVA over and embankment with entrapment.

Just as Station 21 was being dispatched Chief 2110 and Utility 21 came upon the accident.

Chief 2110 found single vehicle down over the embankment that had struck several trees after leaving the roadway initially. Patient was confined but not entraped. C2110 assessed patients injuries which were non life-threatening.

Squad 21 arrived on scene and with personnel from Station 21 along with state police got the patient ready for transport. MA1 arrived on scene and crews removed the patient and carried her up the bank were she was further treated and transported to hospital for evalution.

Station 21 peronnel along with initial patent care were directing traffic, debris clean-up. Buds Towing and their 2 wreckers removed the vehicle from the scene with no issues.

Special thanks goes out to the Pennsylvania State Police and MA1 for assisting in making quick work of the accident.

Personnel were on scene just over an hour.

A quick update on the Chevelle Raffle refund:

The majority of the checks have been processed and mailed; we have a few dozen that we need to find addresses for, and are actively working on that.

If you believe you are due a refund check and have not received it within the next few days, please reach out to us so we can check on it ... We may just need your address.

A Message from LTVFRD:

It is with much sorrow that we announce we are canceling our 1964 Chevy Chevelle Raffle. In the time of nearly two years, we have struggled to gain traction with our sales. As a result, we are still a considerable amount shy of reaching the selling price of the car, let alone making any money with the raffle.

Rebate checks will begin to be mailed out in the next few days. Some may take longer to process as we do not have addresses for many entrants, especially those who purchased paper chances. If you feel we may not have your address, please drop us a note through Messager.

In addition to the Car Raffle itself, we also ran two additional raffles that featured car chances as a prize; purchases in those raffles are also being refunded.
