Woah its HOT! Someone turned the heat on and forgot to cut it off. Well we've got good news - the Outpost has added two public caving trips close to home this month that are perfect for cooling things off and spicing up your sense of adventure! Gear & guiding provided!

We will also be offering an evening rappelling outing that is perfect for beginners. Hopefully these temperatures join the trip and drop a few degrees....gear & guiding provided!

Students! Walker Schools teacher Inservice day is the 25th and we've added some programming opportunities specifically for you for only $5 (or even free)! Join our "AP Outside" program for guided climbs, free gear rentals, and free access to our slackline station coming to you soon!

We are going to go out on a limb by saying that our Canopy Connect Tree Climbing program is one of the most unique afternoon activities in the area (see what we did there?)

Our next session is Thursday of NEXT WEEK from 5pm - 7pm! Perfect for ages 8 and up; all gear and instruction provided.

JOIN US FOR ONE LAST WEEKEND!! The swimming pool may be closed for the season, but don’t sweat! You can still cool off with us this Labor Day weekend on our SPLASH PAD!! Admission is discounted to $2 per person, kids 3 and under are free.

Pool restrooms will be open and accessible during these days/hours, and we’ll have our normal concessions available, too. Admission can be paid and concessions purchased at either the Splash Pad window or main window.

Rock Tots NEXT WEEK! Focused on introducing our youngest age ranges to the sport of rock climbing and our Traverse Park climbing tower, this program is perfect for beginner climbers in ages 3-6 years old. For only $10/climber, this hour and a half long program includes instruction, all needed equipment, and full access to the tower! Close-toed shoes and pre-registration required!

THIS WEEK! This Thursday at MARS Theater, The Outpost welcomes the Georgia Department of Natural Resources for our August speaker series focused on wildlife, wildlands, and the state of our local wildlife management areas. We will explore ongoing efforts to manage natural resources, discuss data trends, and look into the unique aspects of our public lands.

FREE to attend! Perfect for all ages. Presentation starts at 6:00pm, doors open at 5:30pm. Hope to see you there!
