Weโ€™re excited to share that the Acadiana Planning Commission (APC) has officially released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for environmental assessment and related technical services under our EPA Brownfields Assessment Coalition grant.

This project will support assessment and redevelopment planning activities across the Acadiana region, including work in Abbeville, Eunice, Opelousas, and Ville Platte.

We are seeking qualified firms to provide services such as:
โ€ข Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
โ€ข Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs)
โ€ข Sampling, analysis, and data interpretation
โ€ข Brownfields cleanup planning (ABCA)
โ€ข Related technical and planning support

โ€ข Statesโ€™ Economic Development Assistance Program (SEDAP) (due July 31, 2026).
โ€ข Community Infrastructure Fund (CIF) (due August 24, 2026).

These programs provide significant funding opportunities for:

The Delta Regional Authority is making more than $16 million available through the Statesโ€™ Economic Development Assistance Program (SEDAP) to support infrastructure, workforce and business development projects across the Delta region.

With awards ranging from $50,000 to $500,000, SEDAP helps communities invest in the projects that create opportunity, strengthen local economies and improve quality of life.
