The Tippecanoe County Election Board needs several more Republicans to work at the polls for the upcoming Primary Election on to be held on Tuesday, May 5th. This is a great service to our community and our party, and you will be paid for your efforts!

Candidates for delegate to the Indiana Republican State Convention can still work the polls. Other types of candidates and those serving as campaign chair or treasurer cannot serve.

Primary Election Day is May 5th, and polls will be open from 6 AM to 6 PM. If you can't make it that day, early voting begins April 7th at the Tippecanoe county building, available from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. For additional early voting days and times, be sure to check out the full schedule below.

We are deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Danise, the wife of U.S. Representative Jim Baird. She was truly a wonderful woman whose kindness and warmth touched many lives. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Representative Baird and his entire family during this incredibly difficult time. May they find comfort in the love, prayers, and support that surround them.

Please keep Superior Court Judge Steve Meyer and his wife, Kim, in your prayers. As many of you may have heard, they were both injured in a shooting at their home in Lafayette yesterday afternoon. Thankfully, both are currently in stable condition and recovering.

Judge Meyer has served our community with distinction as an attorney, a Lafayette City Council member, and for the past 12 years as Judge of Tippecanoe County Superior Court 2. Kim has also distinguished herself through years of public service in Lafayette City Hall.

Our justice system is central to the safety and stability of our community, and this act of violence against a member of our judiciary has shaken us deeply. While details are still emerging, I am confident that our local law enforcement agencies will conduct a thorough investigation and bring the suspect—who remains at large—to justice.

Please continue to pray for Steve and Kim as they recover, and also for all those who serve our community in so many important ways.

We are deeply saddened to hear of Chuck’s Scholer's passing. Our heartfelt prayers go out to his family and to his wife, Sue, a former State Representative. Together, Chuck and Sue were steadfast supporters of the GOP and strong advocates for Republican values. Chuck was always polite, respectful, and a true gentleman. He will be greatly missed.

May he rest in peace. 🙏

"I am grateful to the West Lafayette Police Department for their professionalism and preparedness to recognize this as a swatting attempt that could be resolved without putting my children, or the children on our street who were preparing to board school busses, in a dangerous and stressful situation....When our family decided to enter the public arena four years ago, we knew our lives would change, but we believed then – and still believe today – that it is important for people who are committed to representing the people with integrity and an attitude of public service to step up. We will continue to do our duty and to do what is in the best interest of our district, no matter the threats. "
