The Calhoun H.E.R.D. program announces several important dates: pre-sale educational program on May 26th at 6:30 p.m., the bull evaluation program deadline of June 1st and the HERD sale on May 27th at 12:30 p.m. at the Northwest Georgia Livestock Pavilion in Calhoun. The Honeybee Festival - LaFayette, GA educational seminar line up has been announced! Join us on Saturday, May 30th, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Bank of LaFayette Community Room (104 N. Main St., LaFayette) 🐝

We wouldn’t be the Honeybee Festival without Honeybee Education. 🐝

Our seminar series is a special part of the day—bringing in experts from across Georgia to share practical ways to support pollinators right here at home. From planting for pollinators to beekeeping and current research, there’s something for every level—whether you’re just getting started or already all in.

Take a look at this year’s lineup and plan to drop in between festival fun. 🌼

And if you’re looking for something a little more hands-on or family-friendly, be sure to stop by our Education Pavilion—featuring honeybee learning experiences designed for all ages.

There will also be workshops happening throughout the day at Pigeon Mountain Trading Company—after all, this is the Honeybee Festival.
