🎃🎻 Spooktacular Strings! 👻🎶

We are so proud of our 4th and 5th grade string students who participated in the Spooktacular Halloween Celebration at Lafayette High School! 🧡🖤

Our young musicians had a wonderful opportunity to share their talents, celebrate the season through music, and perform alongside middle and high school string students for the final piece! What an exciting experience to make music together and be part of such a special musical community! 🎻✨

Way to go, students! We are so proud of your hard work, growth, and musical accomplishments! 👏🎶

✏️ The Knighting of the Artists! 🛡️🎨

Huge milestone moment in the art studio! Our 4th and 5th-grade visual artists were officially "knighted" with their very own real drawing pencils! 🗡️✏️

Moving up from standard #2 pencils to a full range of professional sketching pencils (2B, 4$, 6B, and beyond) is a huge badge of honor. They've proven they have the skill, care, and precision to handle the real deal—unlocking deeper values, richer shadows, and serious artistic control.

Watch out world, these young masters are taking their drawing game to an entirely new level! 👩‍🎨👨‍🎨✨

🌟🎭 Principal’s List Celebration: Where Achievement Meets Imagination! 🎭🌟

Today, our Principal’s List Mustangs enjoyed a special celebration filled with laughter, creativity, and LOTS of fun!

Through interactive theatre games, improvisation-style activities, and creative movement, our students got to think on their feet, use their imaginations, express themselves, and maybe even step a little outside their comfort zones! The smiles and laughter said it all! ❤️💙

A HUGE thank-you to the founder and president of Wonderland Performing Arts & her fabulous assistant, who generously VOLUNTEERED their time to make this experience possible! We are so grateful for community members who share their talents and help us celebrate our students in such meaningful ways!

Congratulations to our Principal’s List Mustangs! You earned this celebration, and we are so proud of you! 🐴🌟

🎭🌟 Our 1st & 2nd Grade Mustangs SHINED! 🌟🎨

We are SO proud of our 1st and 2nd graders! During their Arts Experience for All field trip, our students earned the Captivated Cast Award for outstanding theatre behavior! 🏆👏

This award recognizes students who demonstrated excellent audience etiquette by sitting quietly, showing respect, and participating appropriately throughout the performance!

Way to represent Middlebrook, Mustangs! You showed everyone what it means to be respectful, responsible, and ready to experience the magic of the arts! 💙💛

🎨✨ Why is Arts Education Important? ❤️💙

At Middlebrook Elementary Fine Arts Magnet Academy, we believe the arts are about so much more than creating beautiful things! 🎭🎶💃🖌️ Arts education helps our students grow into confident, creative, and well-rounded learners.

Through dance, music, visual arts, and theatre, our Mustangs develop critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, resilience, and so many other valuable life skills! 🐎⭐

We are proud to provide opportunities for our students to CREATE, EXPLORE, COLLABORATE, and SHINE both inside and outside the classroom! 🌟❤️💙
