JEFFERSON PARISH STEM FEST IS COMING TO THE WESTBANK! 🚀🔬

Councilman Byron Lee, Councilman Deano Bonano, and I have been working together to bring this exciting event to the Westbank, and I’m proud to announce that it will be held at the Alario Center on Saturday, September 12!

This FREE event will give students in kindergarten through 12th grade the opportunity to explore more than 60 hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, and math.

We want our young people to experiment, build, create, and discover what is possible. Sometimes, one exciting experience is all it takes to spark an interest that shapes a child’s future.

Good things happen when we work across district lines for the families we represent. I sincerely appreciate Councilmen Lee and Bonano for partnering with me to bring this incredible opportunity closer to home for children throughout the Westbank.

I am nominating this student because I have been so proud of the way she has started this school year. She has come to school consistently, arrived ready to learn, and has shown such a positive attitude each day. It has been wonderful to see her making an effort, staying motivated, and approaching each day with a fresh mindset. She has shown a lot of growth and determination, and I am excited to see her continue building on this strong start. I truly believe she deserves to be recognized for the effort she is putting in and the positive changes she is making.
