The City of LaGrange, Georgia, will receive sealed bids from qualified bidders for surplus real property owned by the City, located at 311 Creekside Drive, and more particularly described as follows:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 52 of the 6th Land District of Troup County, Georgia, and being more particularly described as Lot 22, Creekside Subdivision, as shown on plat of survey of said subdivision recorded in Plat Book 20D, Page 26, Troup County, Georgia, Deed Records, which plat of survey is incorporated herein and made a part hereof by reference thereto for the purpose of a more complete and accurate description.
The invitation to bid is subject to a minimum bid of $260,000.00. Payment for the property shall be due to the City at closing which will take place no later than forty-five (45) days after the bid acceptance unless extended for good cause by the LaGrange City Manager. The successful qualified bidder will be required to execute such documents as are reasonably required by the City to effectuate the intent and purposes of the sale, including, but not limited to, a sales contract to be executed not later than five (5) working days following the bid acceptance. The property shall be conveyed by limited warranty deed. The City of LaGrange reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to award to the highest responsible bidder, and to further waive formalities in the bid process.
Bids will be opened at 9:30 a.m. on July 28, 2026, in the City Manager’s Office at City Hall located at 200 Ridley Avenue, LaGrange, Georgia, 30240. Bids should be clearly marked “Sealed Bid for Surplus Property - 311 Creekside Drive” and may be mailed to Melissa Robertson, City Clerk, City of LaGrange, 200 Ridley Avenue, LaGrange, Georgia 30240, or delivered in person to the City Clerk’s office.
