The electorate has spoken. Thank you to our volunteers, donors and supporters for all your help over the last three years to enact the reasonable growth guidelines of Measure Q. Our message was simply overwhelmed by the massively funded litany of misinformation by the opposition. Stay tuned as we continue to put Laguna residents first and hold our elected officials to do the same.

Thanks to Saturday's Yes on Q rally at Main Beach, we're feeling the love: community support for Measure Q is strong and it's getting stronger! Residents clearly want the right to vote on big projects in Laguna Beach. Said one attendee: "I didn't move here for more hotels, more bars, more everything. I moved here to raise my family in a small town." If you missed the rally this weekend and would like a lawn sign, please email: [email protected]

"Measure Q will allow residents to determine how their city will look for their children" says Laguna Beach resident Susan Skinner in this week's issue of the Independent. Read why--as well as what benefits Newport Beach has enjoyed since passing their initiative 22 years ago--at:

In 2000, Newport's Greenlight slow growth initiative prevented Newport from looking like Manhattan Beach. In 2022, Laguna's Measure Q has the ability to stop Laguna Beach from ultimately looking like Newport. The opposition in Newport Beach screamed that Greenlight would destroy the economy and harm...
