In 2016, Kathleen Blackburn's Laguna Fund furnished an apartment to enable a recovering person to live independently; provided aid to 33 seniors who needed emergency assistance; supplied money to purchase books and other incidentals for two students attending their first year of college; paid for medical assistance to help a cancer survivor secure special medical treatment; and secured assistance to socialize and council two young Boys and Girls Club attendees.
