India is our country. All Indians are our brothers and sisters.
Some of us were fortunate. We migrated with preparation, employment, and stability. Over time, safety and comfort became our everyday reality.
But this is not the experience of every Indian abroad.
Many leave behind everything familiar - family, language, and home - driven by responsibility and hope. While some journeys are smooth, others carry profound uncertainty. There are Indians across the world today facing legal confusion, financial distress, and isolation. These realities are often invisible, even within our own diaspora.

India is our country. All Indians are our brothers and sisters.

Every journey begins with hope.
But not every journey ends in safety.

As the world grows louder with anti-immigrant sentiment, many of our Indian brothers and sisters abroad are living in fear and silence — without food security, housing, medical support, or legal guidance.
Some are alone. Some are with children.
All are hurting.

IndiaAbroad.org exists so no one in the world’s largest diaspora feels abandoned.

As we close 2025, we’re launching our Year-End Giving Campaign to support migrants in transition across the U.S. and around the world.

👉 This season, your donation is more than charity —
it’s dignity, safety, and a lifeline for someone who has no one else.

Friends, I’m happy to share a personal update.

I’ve recently moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina on a project assignment with Maxsys International Inc., a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity. I’ve joined as an IT Consultant to take responsibility for the India Abroad initiative — a long-term effort to support Indians living across the world.

As part of this role, we are preparing to launch hub.indiaabroad.org, a social-network platform designed to help Indians abroad stay connected, find community, exchange culture, and thrive using the best tools available in the digital world.

This project is close to my heart, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to something that aims to bring people together, no matter where they live.

More updates soon — thank you all for your support and good wishes. indiaabroad.org
