Join us this Friday, June 12th at 12:30 PM at the library for a special and heartfelt Quilts of Honor Presentation.

We are honored to recognize five area veterans with handmade quilts, presented in gratitude for their service and sacrifice to our country.

The Rio Grande Valley Quilt Guild program is an effort to award beautiful, handcrafted quilts to veterans and service members. Each quilt is a symbol of comfort, healing, and appreciation—stitched with care and presented with respect and honor.

Please come show your support and help us thank these deserving individuals for their service.

The library was buzzing with excitement today as kids set off on our Dinosaur Discovery Tour! Little explorers searched for clues, uncovered “fossils,” and learned fun facts about their favorite prehistoric giants. Their smiles, questions, and dino‑sized enthusiasm made the whole adventure unforgettable.

We loved seeing so many curious minds ready to unearth a story — one dinosaur at a time.

Special Event Notice

The library will be closed for regular services on Saturday, June 13th as we host a FREE Pet Adoption Event in partnership with the Port Isabel Rotary and the Port Isabel Animal Shelter.

🐾 Join us from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM to meet adoptable pets and give a furry friend a new home!
