Write [email protected] for gate clearance or email listing.bsky.social Laguna Woods Democratic Club serves as the meeting and gathering place for registered Democrats and friends of the Democratic Party in the community of Laguna Woods Village, a senior community of 18,000 residents. We encourage membership and participation from other communities. There are no
age or residency requirements to become an LWDC member. Besides regular monthly meetings, we host social and charitable activities throughout the year. There are countless volunteer opportunities for voter registration, Getting Out the Vote, postcard writing, phone call workshops, and food drives for our primary service project, South County Outreach charity in Lake Forest. The purpose of the Club is to stimulate greater interest in government affairs, to further the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party, to increase Democratic Party registration and turnout, and to elect Democratic candidates who will truly support the United States Constitution and work for the highest degree of economic and social justice and welfare for all people. We educate the community about the role government plays and its effect. We study issues and work to influence public policy through letters, petitions and phone calls to local, state and federal elected officials. We promote Democratic values through our involvement in local communities and through the volunteerism of our members.
