erience on Aikane X5 will be the pinnacle of your trip to Maui. Our vessel is USCG inspected and certified for 49 passengers, but we try to keep our 'shared' trips to less than 12 people. We are happy to book large groups up to 49 as well. We use two US Coast Guard certified Captains and a have very personable deck crew to answer questions and provide you with anything you may need during your adventure. This catamaran won the TransPacific yacht race from Los Angeles to Honolulu each time it entered, and made a world record pass as a solo in the mid 80's. It won nearly every race it entered. Currently X5 is configured as a “Power” catamaran and designed to be what we feel is the most comfortable ride on the water. The boat is equipped with a beautiful roomy cabin and food serving facilities. We have a fresh water shower and first class snorkel equipment and towels . We also have a rest room facility located below deck. If we are having too much fun during your Maui Snorkeling, Sunset dinner cruise, or Whale Watch Maui charter and the guests are willing we have been known to continue the adventure, schedule permitting. We typically also fish while cruising and, if something is caught, we are happy to serve up ultra fresh fish fillets in addition to the other food provided for your enjoyment. As a part of your trip, we serve soft drinks, Mai Tai, Rum & Coke, and an assortment of food which consists of vegetables/dip, crackers and cheese pupus (Hawaiian and american appetizers), teriyaki beef, chicken and Mongolian beef and rice. And remember, Fresh Mahi-Mahi and Ono are available when we catch them on voyage. Nearly anything is available upon special request.
