I’m sharing Welsh’s post. It’s a good reminder of what many small towns are dealing with beneath the ground.
I know the construction, road work, and water line projects can be frustrating. I think we all grumble.
But we’re fortunate. Thanks to grant funding and state investment, we’re replacing aging infrastructure and improving our roads. Not every small town gets that opportunity.
The inconvenience is temporary. The improvements will benefit Lake Arthur for years to come.
This is a piece of six inch water line that was cut for repair today. Our water department works daily to try and get clean water to our customers but it is not always easy with our old rusted lines.
