The McNeese State University Police Department is Serving Beyond the Badge by hosting a Poke Pantry Food Drive to support our Cowboy community!
🫶 Donate non-perishable food items to help stock the shelves of the Poke Pantry and make a difference for students in need.

🏡 7 Days of Parking Passes – Day 2: Resident Parking Tags 🚗
Living on campus this semester? Here’s how to make sure your car is parked legally and safely at McNeese! 💙💛

✅ Resident Parking Permits – All students living in on-campus housing must have a Resident parking tag. You can purchase your permit online through your banner account and pick up your tag at the police station on campus.

📍 Where to Park:
Resident parking lots are reserved only for students living on campus. These parking areas are marked green or blue/green on the parking map.

🛑 Important:
• Do NOT park in fire zones or prohibited zones.
• Always display your resident permit clearly on your vehicle.
• Do NOT block driveways or entrances/exits — emergency and service vehicles need clear access at all times.
• Vehicles parked without the proper tag are subject to ticketing.

🕔 Pro Tip: Got visitors? Make sure they park in designated visitor spots or get a visitor pass from University Police.

Are you commuting to McNeese this semester? Here’s what you need to know to park like a pro:

✅ Commuter Parking Permits – Required for all commuter students! You can purchase your permit online through your banner account and then pick it up at the police station on campus. Make sure to display it properly to avoid tickets.

📍 Where to Park:
Commuter students can park in lots marked blue or blue/green. These are spread across campus and are first-come, first-served.

⚠️ Do NOT park in residential, faculty/staff, visitor, or reserved spots — those are off-limits for commuter permits.

🕘 Pro Tip: Arrive early! Lots tend to fill up between 8–10 AM.
