Weekend project time!

Before hurricane season, take a little time to strengthen your home and check these items off your list:

-Trim trees and overhanging branches.
-Secure or store outdoor items like furniture, tools, decorations, and toys.
-Secure doors and add caulk or weather stripping to windows and entryways.
-Clear debris from gutters.
-Plan a safe spot to park your vehicles.

We are proud to announce that Jason Springs has officially been voted in as Fire Chief and Rollins Rhodes as Assistant Chief of South Lynches Fire Department.

Both men have shown tremendous dedication, commitment, and passion for serving their department, fellow firefighters, and the South Lynches Fire District community. Their willingness to give their time, answer the call at all hours, and support the mission of the department speaks volumes about their character and devotion to the fire service.

South Lynches Fire Department has a long-standing tradition of service, pride, and community involvement, and we are excited to see that tradition continue moving forward. We appreciate the sacrifice and hard work that goes into volunteering and serving others, and we are thankful for individuals who are willing to step up and serve their department in these important roles.

No matter the call firefighters answer the call without hesitation. Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting life and property do not go unnoticed.

We are especially grateful for our local departments and the dedication they show our community every single day. Whether career or volunteer, your service makes a difference.
