Your voice matters and now is the time to use it!

Early voting for the Statewide Primary begins Tuesday, May 26th. I want to encourage every citizen of Lake City to make your voice heard at the polls. Democracy only works when we participate, and your vote is one of the most powerful tools you have.

People fought, marched, and sacrificed so that we would have the right to vote. Don't let that go to waste. Don't wait until Election Day, take advantage of early voting starting May 26th. Make a plan, bring a neighbor, and let's make Lake City's voice loud and clear!

I extend my deepest condolences to the South Lynches Fire Department on the passing of Chief David Malone.

Chief Malone dedicated his life to service, leadership, and the safety of others. His commitment to his community and his department leaves behind a legacy that will not be forgotten.

During this difficult time, my thoughts and prayers are with his family, the South Lynches Fire Department, and all who had the honor of knowing and working alongside him. May God grant you strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead.
