First, Happy Veterans Day
It has taken longer than I intended to write this thank you post. So many friends, colleagues, and supporters have reached out to congratulate me that it has been a whirlwind of a week. Know that I couldn't have run this race without the support of all of you. If I haven't yet expressed my gratitude to you directly I apologize, and know that I am grateful for your contributions even as I have been distracted by the tasks of transition.
I want to thank Karrie Kelly, for working to make the transition smooth. We have been able to work productively throughout the campaign to resolve cases and I'm sure that relationship will continue. Thank you as well to Jacob Barnes and Julie Maxwell for preparing the office for the upcoming change. I look forward to getting to know you better.
To the voters of Wabasha County, I want to thank you for your involvement in the democratic process. I am humbled by the responsibility that you have entrusted me with, and I will endeavor to diligently represent your interests at all times and in all forums. I will build a team that is thoughtful and respectful in all its dealings with the community whether defendant, victim, or simply a concerned citizen. I can hardly wait to get started!
