As we officially close out another amazing season at the Lake City Aquatic Center, we want to say thank you to everyone who helped make this summer such a success. 💙☀️

First, thank you to our incredible patrons for spending your summer with us. We appreciate every family, every swimmer, and every smiling face that came through our gates this season.

A huge thank you goes out to our amazing lifeguards, assistant managers, swim lesson instructors, volunteers, the City of Lake City crew, and the City Hall staff. Your hard work behind the scenes kept everything running smoothly and helped make the pool a fun and safe place for everyone.

We are also incredibly grateful to our community partners who helped make so many of our events and programs possible:

🐾💦 That’s a wrap on the 2026 pool season! 💦🐾

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to finish out the summer! Our Doggie Dip was a success, and it was so much fun seeing all of the dogs take over the pool for the evening. Some jumped right in, some took their time, and a few seemed perfectly happy just checking everything out from the side. 😂🐶

Thank you to everyone who came out tonight and helped make our final event of the season such a fun one!

And just like that, the 2026 season at the Lake City Aquatic Center has officially come to an end. 💙☀️ Thank you to everyone who visited, supported our events, brought your kids swimming, and spent part of your summer with us. We’ve made a lot of great memories this year, and we appreciate everyone who helped make this season what it was.

Have a great rest of the year, Lake City — we’ll see you next summer! 🌊☀️

Today is the last day of the 2026 pool season at the Lake City Aquatic Center! Thank you to everyone who has made this such an incredible summer. We hope you’ll come out one last time to help us finish the season with a splash!

🏊 Regular Swim: 12:00–5:00 PM

🐾 Doggie Dip: 5:00–7:00 PM

Bring your four-legged friend out for one last swim before we close for the season! Dogs are welcome to enjoy the pool while owners may wade in the water up to their knees.

As we get ready to wrap up another amazing summer, we wanted to take a look back at some of our favorite memories from the 2026 pool season! ☀️💦

From swim lessons and special events to countless cannonballs, laughs, and sunny afternoons, this summer was filled with unforgettable moments. None of it would have been possible without our incredible lifeguards, assistant managers, staff, volunteers, the City of Lake City crew, City Hall staff, supportive families, and everyone who spent their summer with us. Thank you for everything you did to help make this season such a success!

👏 Lifeguard of the Week: Luke Patterson! 👏
Congratulations to Luke Patterson for being named this week's Lifeguard of the Week! Luke has been a valuable part of our team all summer. He always comes to work with a positive attitude, ready to work hard and help wherever he's needed. He consistently gets his daily responsibilities done, follows through on every task, and is someone we can always count on. Even with his busy schedule, Luke has been great about picking up extra shifts whenever he's able, and we truly appreciate his willingness to help the team.

Congratulations to Tristin Gordon for being named this week's Lifeguard of the Week! Tristin has been a valuable member of our team this summer. She has been incredibly helpful by coming in when we need extra staff, always making sure her daily responsibilities are completed, and doing her part to keep the pool running smoothly. She has also done a great job ensuring the safety of our patrons and helping create a safe environment for everyone at the pool.
Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and willingness to help whenever you're needed. We appreciate everything you do—keep up the great work, Tristin! 🌊🏅

Join us on Wednesday, August 19 for one last day of summer fun at the Lake City Aquatic Center!

🏊 Regular Swim: 12:00–5:00 PM

Then, we'll wrap up the season with our annual...

🐶 Doggie Dip: 5:00–7:00 PM

Bring your pup out for one last splash before we close for the season! Dogs are welcome to swim while owners may wade in the water up to their knees. Dogs must remain on a leash unless they are in the pool, owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs, and all dogs must be current on vaccinations, community-friendly, not in heat, and non-aggressive. Lifeguards will be on duty to help make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable evening.
