Starting on Tuesday, August 25th, every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00am to 12:00pm, infants to Pre-K kiddos are invited to join us for Sensory Play! We’ll start off with some light yoga and movement. Then we’ll learn some sign language that can help you and your baby communicate even before they learn to speak. After that, you and your child can explore and play with our sensory bins!

After School Activities will begin on Monday, August 24th. Activities will run from 4:00pm to 5:00pm Monday through Thursday. These programs will be suitable for grades K-6th.

Mondays will be Lego free play days. Tuesdays will be an art project- specific details will be provided on the day. Wednesdays will be Crafts To-Go, stop in at any time during business hours on Wednesdays to pick up a craft kit to do at home- only one kit per child. Thursdays will be Crafts For Here- we’ll do a craft here at the library.

All materials will be provided by the library, unless otherwise specified. Craft kits will include components of the craft for kids to put together and instructions, they will not include glue or scissors. All activities are completely free.

Today- Friday, July 31st, is the LAST DAY to turn in your completed SRC log to be entered into the grand prize drawing for your age group! Don't miss out!

Today marks the end of our summer activities! I hope everyone had a great summer with us at the McAdams Library! If your child participated in our Summer Reading Club, be sure to turn those completed reading logs in before July 31st for them to be entered into the GRAND PRIZE DRAWING for their age group. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, August 4th.
