🌟 Teacher Spotlight: Ashley Ziegler 🌟

Mrs. Ziegler serves Riverside as our RHS Library Media Specialist and District Testing Coordinator.

Her love of helping others, teaching English, and reading inspired her to pursue a career in education. More than anything, she hopes students remember how much she cared about them and valued the relationships they built together.

This year, Mrs. Ziegler is especially excited about getting the RHS Book Club and Library Club up and going! 📚

Before entering education, she wrote articles and sold advertising for a newspaper, worked on the radio, and served as a Clinique consultant. She earned her undergraduate degree and teaching credentials from Arkansas State University, a master’s degree in Instructional Technology: Library Media from Arkansas Tech University, and a graduate certificate in online teaching from John Brown University.

Mrs. Ziegler loves traveling with her family, sitting down together for dinner, and dreaming about writing a book someday. She has visited 49 states! Her zero-calorie wish would be bread and birthday cake, and she can always sing along to “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls or “Country Grammar” by Nelly. 🎶

We are thankful for the many ways Mrs. Ziegler supports our students, teachers, and district! ❤️📚

🎶 Students in Mrs. Phillips’ Bella Voce class, our seventh and eighth-grade treble choir, are learning to read music using solfège!

These foundational skills will help prepare them for the Choral Performance Assessment this spring. We are proud of our students for stepping up to the board, practicing together and growing as musicians! 🎼🎤

PE is about more than just exercise. It’s also about having fun, building friendships, and making memories! 🏀🏐

There are a lot of great memories being made in this gym. We love seeing our students active, laughing, and enjoying a little friendly competition! 🏴‍☠️
