Lake City Betterment Association The LCBA serves as the chamber of commerce for Lake City, Iowa. We take pride in our town and businesses! The LCBA is run by a volunteer board of directors.

The mission of the Lake City Betterment Association is to create opportunities for community enrichment and enjoyment through business development, providing events to enhance the quality of life, and coordinating downtown beautification. Our page is managed by LCBA Board Members Kat Morris and Whitney Francis.

A fresh coat of paint has made a big difference at Goins Memorial Park! Volunteers spent two days repainting playground equipment with help from a Paint Iowa Beautiful grant.

It’s so hot, we’re giving the pool a timeout. 🥵

Due to the heat advisory, we will be having 10-minute breaks for all swimmers throughout the day instead of our regular adult swim breaks.

These quick breaks help everyone cool off, rehydrate, and stay safe in the heat.
